Edwin Averette is from New Bern, NC, and studied graphic design, photography, and anthropology while at East Carolina University. Graduated in 2021, he also obtained a Cultural Resources Management certificate. In photography he specialized in composited aerial imagery on large format archival inkjet prints and participated in local and regional exhibitions. His artwork is influenced by anthropological spatial analysis and being culturally aware of how audience and users interact with design.
Edwin volunteers in his spare time with the free genealogical information center of NCGenWeb as Coordinator of Craven County.
